This campground is situated along a river that leads to a large lake and is close to Sylvan Beach. It is mostly long-term summer camps with established campers, and the spot we stayed at had 50 AMP, sewer, water, and cable. The roads in the park are full of potholes and the lady that checks you in will ask for proof of rabies shots for pets. The campground is well maintained but outdated, and the bathrooms are badly in need of an overhaul. There are no amenities except for a laundry area, and the camp store is well-stocked. The power is good, but no cable or WiFi, and the WiFi signal is strong but all but useless. There is no shade for the tent sites, and fishing is good. The staff is friendly and helpful, but the campground is not suitable for swimming due to the cow crap and pond scum. This is definitely a SEASONAL campground, and the rate is worth it if you get the Passport America discount.
