What others are saying about this campground
Lake Durant Campground is the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway in the Adirondacks. The campground is small and quiet, with 60 great campsites for an affordable price. You can rent kayaks and canoes to explore the lake, and there are plenty of trails in the area. The view from the campsites is beautiful, and the park is kept in great shape. There is a new bathhouse with a dishwashing station, and the showers are always clean. The garbage and recycling facility is top notch. Be sure to avoid the weekend, as the clientele can be loud and disruptive.

Route 28, and features the History of the Adirondack Park. The Adirondack Park Visitors Interpretive Center at Newcomb is 25 miles east on N.Y.S. Route 28.
