What others are saying about this campground
Lake Erie State Park in Brocton, NY offers roomy campsites, walking trails, and a beautiful view of the sunset over Lake Erie. While some of the electrical service is 110 only, the bathrooms are nice and showers are separate. The beach is a black shale stone beach and the walking trails are well cared for. There is an 18-hole disc golf course within walking distance from the campground. While the wind off Lake Erie can be cool and strong, the park is generally clean and quiet.

From The Campground

Lake Erie State Park is located in Western New York, and is one of the first Great Lakes to be uncovered during the last retreat of glacial ice. The park offers a variety of amenities, including campsites, cabins, and lodging, as well as accessible biking, canoeing/kayaking, disc golf, fishing, grills, hiking, pavilions and shelter rentals, playgrounds, showers, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing/X-Country skiing. Visitors can also participate in a variety of activities, such as invasive species walks, butterfly walks, nature crafts, food trucks, and concerts. The park is committed to protecting the environment and wildlife, and encourages visitors to respect other visitors and their experience, avoid excessive noise, respect and observe wildlife from a distance, protect wildlife and food by storing rations and trash securely, use extra caution when using headphones, and not litter. Visitors are also reminded not to move firewood between parks or transport it over large distances, and to clean and remove all visible plants, animals, fish, and mud from their boats, trailers, and other equipment before entering or leaving the park.
