This campground is located near some amazing attractions, such as Ausable Chasm and Lake Placid. The sites are large and have dirt and grass with concrete patio slabs. The office is old and cramped, and the owners are friendly but there is a lot of cigarette smoke in the air. The rec hall has holes in the roof and walls, and is rarely open. The cable TV has more than enough channels, and the Wi-Fi is low but adequate. There is a pool filled on the weekends with children, and the laundry facilities consist of one working washer and a dryer that does not dry anything. There is also access to the Ausable River and Lake Champlain. Site fees are discounted if you pay in cash, but 50amp is not available this season.
