Southwoods RV Resort in Byron, NY is an excellent RV park with 275 sites. The park features two swimming pools, three playgrounds, putt-putt golf, a game room, and a clubhouse. There are many organized activities for kids and adults alike. The owners and staff are friendly, courteous, and helpful. The seasonal sites are well maintained with flowers and other landscaping amenities throughout the campground. Utilities are excellent, and the power voltage on both circuits of 50-amp service is 121 volts. The setting of the campground is in rolling, scenic farmland. The only drawback is its remote location. It is some distance from the New York State Thruway and other major highways; however, it is a quiet and peaceful campground with a gate that has a keycard access. The park provides excellent service and has fast phone speeds with both AT&T and Verizon. Wifi service is generally strong enough for streaming. Although the wifi strength varies based on the location you are in, the office said it was strong enough for streaming. Overall, if you are looking for a longer stay in a peaceful, family-oriented campground, Southwoods RV Resort may be an excellent location for you.

Southwoods RV Resort is a family-friendly campground located in Upstate New York, open from May through October. With its setting near the Finger Lakes, Niagara Falls, and Darien Lake, it is one of the best situated Rochester & Buffalo area campgrounds. The campground offers incredible family attractions and activities like hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, bird watching, and more. Visitors can also take a trip to see the horses race at Batavia Downs Raceway, go bird watching in the Bergen Swamps, or catch a game with the NFL Buffalo Bills. Southwoods RV Resort offers a variety of sites, including wooded and semi-wooded sites, and amenities such as two pools, mini-golf, and playgrounds. The campground also hosts events and activities for both kids and adults.
