This campground is located near an interstate, so it can be quite noisy. The campground is mostly filled with long-term and permanent campers, but there are some temporary sites available. The sites are shaded and level, but they are lumpy with tree roots. The interior roads are dirt and narrow, and the trees preclude satellite TV. The pool is clean and there are some new inflatable items for kids in the playground. Wi-Fi is not operational at the campsite but there is good reception under the shelter by the office. Cable TV reception is very poor and snowy. The staff is friendly and helpful, but the facilities are deteriorating and overpriced. The park is not suitable for rigs over 40 feet.

From The Campground

Welcome to Country Haven, a family campground. Located in the heart of the Adirondacks, only 15 minutes from Lake George Village is our spacious 19-acre campground. We have wooded and partially wooded campsites. We have 2 large play areas for both children and adults to keep you busy or just relax by a campfire under the trees. You can also enjoy fishing and boating at the many nearby lakes or cast a line in the small trout stream bordering our property. Whatever's your pleasure, we hope you have fun and enjoy your stay!
