For the price, it was OK. Riverside Pines Campground is a great place to stay for a peaceful getaway. Located across the road from the beautiful Scroon River, the campground provides easy access to swimming and tubing activities. The campground has recently been taken over by new owners, Eric and his family, and they have made many improvements to the campground, including upgraded electric and Wi-Fi, a fixed beach wall for safety, and boat docks. The owner, Barbara, is friendly but does not come around to check on guests like other campgrounds do. The bathrooms are neat but not always stocked with paper towels. Unfortunately, noise from traffic and unruly guests can be an issue, as demonstrated by our first night when we had to call 911 twice for kids yelling outside our tent. The shade is nice but makes getting the camper in and out a little difficult. Despite these issues, the campground is a great value for the price and is a great place to stay for a peaceful getaway.

Riverside Pines is a beautiful campground located on the Schroon River in the Adirondack Park. They offer a variety of camping options including cabins, tents, and RV sites. The campground is conveniently located near Schroon Lake, Lake George, and other Adirondack attractions. The new owners, the Pooler family, are friendly and welcoming. The campground has recently undergone renovations including a new retaining wall for the beach. Guests can enjoy the beautiful scenery and relaxing atmosphere of the campground.
