What others are saying about this campground
Glimmerglass State Park is a beautiful park located a short drive from downtown Cooperstown. It boasts a stunning view of Oneonta Lake from the parks beach, which features a large pavilion and playground. While swimming is not recommended due to high algae levels, the beach area is still very attractive. The parks two loops with 37 sites are located in a wooded area with just electric hook-ups. A shower building is conveniently located between the two loops, and the dump station is well placed for easy access. Bear warning signs are posted throughout the park, reminding visitors to keep their garbage secure. The office staff is helpful and can provide advice on the best way to get in and out of the park. Visitors have praised the parks cleanliness, spaciousness, and friendly staff. Additionally, the parks proximity to the Baseball Hall of Fame makes it an ideal destination for sports fans.
