What others are saying about this campground
Croton Point Park is a beautiful and clean state park located in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. The park features full hookups for RVs, and the sites are flat with nice tables and easy pull-in/pull-out. The park is smaller and is situated close to town and the I-287, as well as a train depot, making it convenient to access. The park has great hiking trails, a lovely little beach area, and plenty of activities to enjoy nearby, such as Bear Mountain State Park and being just 30 minutes from NYC. The park staff is friendly and provides great customer service, with clean and updated facilities. Verizon coverage is good, and Starlink coverage is passable. While some reviewers report overgrown and tight roads, most note that the park features new paved roads and bathroom remodels underway. Some commenters felt that the customer support staff were helpful, and the bathrooms were clean, but in some cases outdated. Water quality may occasionally be an issue, and there is always the option to bring your own water. Nevertheless, visitors recommend the park as a reasonably priced and overall great camping experience.
