Skyline Camping Resort is a great place to stay for a weekend getaway or a longer vacation. Its conveniently located minutes away from Darien amusement and entertainment park, as well as nearby towns. The campground is very clean and offers good wifi, fast food, RV repair and sales, a good stocked store, and a pond for catch and release fishing. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they even made accommodations for guests to arrive a day early. The sites are spacious and have plenty of room for large RVs, and there is a nice fire ring area. The only downside is that there are pay showers and the city water has a bad smell. There are plenty of activities for the family, including a playground, RV store, pools, and recreational facilities. There are also lawn games such as volleyball and rustic mini golf. The WiFi signal is weak, but excellent near the main buildings. The golf carts can be a bit noisy after 10:00 PM, but quiet hours start at 11:00 PM. There are more updates planned for next year, and the price for firewood is good.
