This campground is the perfect place for a peaceful and quiet getaway. During the week, it is quiet and serene, and on the weekends it gets a bit busier but never crowded or noisy. The campsites are large and well-maintained, and the park offers many activities for children and teens, such as fishing, boating, playgrounds, and a swimming pool. There is also a camp store, free WIFI, and a LP fill and dump station. The only downside is that the cars and trucks in the campground drive really fast, which can blow a lot of dust and make it hard to breathe. The dirt roads leading to the campground and in the campground itself need some work, but if you drive slowly you should be fine. The campground is also very strict about recycling and using their clear plastic trash bags, and the dumpster is a bit of a walk away.

From The Campground

Crazy Acres Campground at Beaver Spring Lake is a family-friendly campground located in scenic farm country near Cooperstown and Oneonta. The campground offers 120 large sites for seasonal, overnight, and vacationing campers, including 70 full hookups, a separate tenting area, clean restrooms, shade trees, and open play areas. The campground has large, open areas and panoramic views of the Catskill foothills and farmland. For your convenience, there are centrally located bathrooms and showers, laundry facilities, and a camp store with movie rentals, a book exchange, and an information center for area attractions, boat, and gaming equipment rental, as well as Wi-Fi on the premises. Enjoy great fishing available in the 15-acre spring-fed lake, or dip your worm in Charlotte creek on our northern border. The campground has fun planned activities each weekend for families and adults.
