Verona Beach State Park in Durhamville, NY is a well-kept and clean small state park. The buildings are in great shape and offer a wonderful view of the lake from almost every site. The beach area is nice and there are plenty of places for day picnicking. Families with young kids can enjoy the swim park and splash pad. Convenient concessions are available at the beach. The only opportunities for improvement include filling in large water puddles in the roads and improving the dump station. Verona Beach State Park and nearby Green Lakes State Park are good choices for weekend trips, although electric sites can be hard to reserve. All sites at Verona Beach now have electric, making planning even more important.

Verona Beach State Park is a beautiful campground located in New York. The campground offers a variety of amenities including biking, fishing, hiking, hunting, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and swimming. The campground also offers pavilions and shelter rentals, playgrounds, and showers. Visitors can enjoy Sunset Yoga presented by Mellow Flow Yoga on Thursdays throughout the summer. Firewood source maps show a 50-mile radius from which untreated firewood may be moved to this campground. For more information see firewood restrictions.
