What others are saying about this campground
Lake Erie State Park in Fredonia, NY provides roomy sites, some with a view of the lake. The electrical service is 110 only, and the pads may be narrow. The ground around the pad may be soft and the grass might need cutting. The beach is a black shale stone beach, so it may be less inviting for swimming, but taking a walk on it is enjoyable. The walking trails remain beautiful and well-maintained within the park. They have an 18-hole Disc Golf Course that you can walk to from the campground. Mostly open fairways with guard trees, and a few wooded fairways make it even more exciting. The bathrooms are nice with showers that are separate. The park has lots of trees and beautiful, but the winds that come off the lake can be cool and strong. Stink bugs and sandflies may be present at certain times of the year, so be prepared.
