The park is home to a variety of plant and animal life, including migratory birds, deer, and porcupines. Visitors can enjoy hiking trails, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, and children's play areas in the summer, and cross-country skiing, snowshoe trekking, and sledding in the winter. The park also has designated snowmobile trails.
