Whispering Pines Campground is a beautiful, peaceful, and quiet campground located just 8.5 miles from Saratoga Springs. The campground is heavily wooded and features large, level, and well-spaced sites. There is a speed limit of 5mph that is strictly enforced and all visitors must display a parking pass in their vehicle. The facilities are clean and renovated, and the owners have put a lot of effort into making the campground above average. The showers are metered and hot, but not well designed. The roads in the campground are narrow and full of pot holes, making it difficult to maneuver large rigs. There is no sewer hook up and the dump station is up a steep hill. Cable TV is available in some sites, but there is no Verizon service, Wi-Fi only in small area around office, and unable to get a satellite signal. With the addition of some gravel pads in the sites, this campground has a lot of potential.
