What others are saying about this campground
Rogers Rock Campground has been a go-to spot for families for years due to its scenic location by Lake George. However, recent experiences have been mixed. Some campers state that its a great time overall, while others have found it difficult to get the peace and quiet necessary for a good nights sleep. One camper complained that there was no longer a groundskeeper to ensure campers are safe and respectful of others during quiet hours. They described a situation where their neighbors were partying loudly until 5:30am, which continued over two nights, resulting in a sleep-deprived and unpleasant experience. Despite reporting this to the campground staff, no action was taken to mitigate the situation. Another camper mentioned that a tree fell down in the woods close to one of the sites, which was a potentially dangerous situation. They were concerned about the lack of safety protocol checks to ensure that dead trees or those at risk of falling are cut down. While some families still enjoy Rogers Rock Campground, these incidents are worth considering before making a reservation.
