North Country Cottages and Campgrounds are located on the shores of beautiful Black Lake, the largest of the Indian River chain of lakes. Black Lake is an 11,000 acre lake with over 60 miles of shoreline. From it's origin at the Indian River to it's outlet into the Oswegatchie River it is nearly 20 miles long with the widest point being 4 miles. Fish found in Black Lake include; Walleye, Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Yellow Perch, Crappie, Sunfish, Rock Bass, Blue Gill, Brown Bullhead, Channel Cats and Muskalonge. Although your days will be near filled with the fantastic fishing that Black Lake has to offer, keep in mind that Black Lake is just minutes away from many North Country attractions.
