This RV campground is right on the Erie Canal waterway system in the town of Ilion, and is owned by the Town of Ilion. It has 14 spots, all back-ins with full hookups, and can accommodate rigs up to 40 without sticking out into the driveway. The park is close to groceries, restaurants, and other places of interest, and the management is friendly. There are some seasonal renters, but also spots for transients, and a boat launch, docks, and a nearby restaurant. The marina takeout restaurant nearby is excellent and the power is 50/30/20 AMP and very stable. The train track that is across the river isnt too noisy and a visit to the Remington Arms Museum is worth a visit. Those staying here should keep in mind that reservations are probably necessary during the summer months.

From The Campground

The Village of Ilion Marina and RV Park is a well-kept facility located on the Erie Canal. It offers 14 RV sites, each 28 feet wide with 50 or 30 amp availability. The park has over 500ft of bulkhead wall for boat daytime and overnight docking, with 25 wet slips and 20 transient slips. Slip facilities include fresh water, electric, pump out, and wireless services. Both gas and diesel fuels are on site, along with a Launch Ramp, Restrooms, Picnic Area, and Camping. The RV sites include cable and all utilities, and additional amenities include a bath house with showers and laundry facilities. The park offers a playground with swings and other rides, three pavilions for community use, and a restaurant on site. Banks, pharmacies, restaurants, stores, and the Remington Arms Gun Museum are all within walking distance.
