This campground is located 2 miles from Lake George Village and is a great location to visit the surrounding areas. It is ideal for big rigs, however they must access the campground entrance from the North on Rt 9 (use I-87, Exit 23) or they will not make the turn. The sites are unlevel and sandy, and the hills and tight turns make it difficult to maneuver around. The power is steady but with low water pressure, and there is no internet available at the sites, but there is a hot spot at the office. The cabins have water and power hook-ups and are large enough to park a van, 2 motorcycles, and a trailer. The park owner is helpful and friendly, and the rates are reasonable.
