What others are saying about this campground
This campground is located directly on Lake George and is a great place for tenters to stay. The beach is nice with lifeguards and there is a shuttle to the nearby village for $1. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The bath house is up a long hill, but there are bathrooms closer to the sites. The sites have a lot of room, but some are on top of each other. The facilities are aged, but the staff does their best to keep them maintained. Mid-week stays are the best, as the park can get packed during the summer months. There is one very open field-type area. The beach is small and only chest deep, so it may not be the best option for those with kids in inclement weather.
