Whippoorwill Motel and Campsites is a great, family-run campground located in Lake George, New York. It is clean, well-kept and convenient to everything in the area. The park is small and family-oriented, located right on the bike trail and close to great restaurants, such as Log Jam. The utilities at the campground work as expected, and the grounds are well maintained. The small but wonderful pool is perfect for taking a dip. Reservations require a 50% deposit, and there is no refund for cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the start of the reservation. Despite this, Whippoorwill Motel and Campsites is a beautiful location that visitors would definitely enjoy returning to.
