From The Campground

Luzerne Campground & Day Use Area is a New York State Department of Environmental Conservation campground located on Fourth Lake. The campground has 174 sites, including 7 additional sites in the horse area. The lake covers approximately 51 acres and is perfect for boating, canoeing, and tubing. Hiking, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, and mountain climbing are also popular activities in the area. The campground is close to outlet malls, restaurants, theme parks, theaters, and historic sites. The Junior Naturalist Program offers games and activities for children aged 5-13 and their families. The campground has strict rules and regulations to protect the environment, including cleaning boats and equipment to prevent the spread of aquatic invasives and not moving firewood to prevent the spread of invasive insects.
