Booking these sites upfront may be a good option for those who prefer boondocking. All in all, Lewey Lake provides a serene atmosphere for campers who seek a more laid back camping experience. We definitely recommend returning to this lovely campground.

Lewey Lake Campground & Day Use Area is located in Indian Lake, NY. The campground has a rich history, with initial camping established in the area before the development of the campground in 1920. The campground was developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930s and modernized after the development of the present highway. The campground offers a Junior Naturalist Program for young children and their families, with games and activities to earn a beautiful embroidered patch. The area is an outdoor classroom for learning about animals, plants, aquatic life, and more. The campground offers a sustainable camping experience and follows campground rules and regulations. The campground is located near restaurants and shopping in Indian Lake and golf courses in the villages of Indian Lake, Inlet, and Lake Pleasant.
