Myers Point is a city park located on the southeast side of beautiful Cayuga Lake. It is the only park in the area and offers 21 sites for RVs, with power (max 30 amp) and water hook-ups. The park is large and immaculately maintained, with plenty of room to maneuver any size RV. There are no amenities, but there is a restroom with one very old shower, porta-potties, flush and showers in the swimming area. The park is low key and quiet, with nice playgrounds and lots of lawn area for kids to enjoy. It is 20 minutes from Cornell and Ithaca, and about 2 1/2 miles to some shopping and 5 miles to good shopping (restaurants, groceries, hardware, etc). Great fishing in Cayuga Lake! The campsites are unshaded, but because DirecTV satellites are low in the horizon, tall trees in center of park blocked a signal. The Verizon signal is good. Reservations are required and you must call during business hours.
