This campground is conveniently located near the Long Island Railroad, providing easy access to the center of New York City. It is also close to the beach and other attractions on Long Island. The campground is very clean and the employees are friendly. However, there is industrial activity nearby and the closest beach access has a sign warning of ticks. The customer service is poor, as the staff did not take the time to listen to the customers request before sending them away. Despite this, the campground is a great place to stay and explore the area.

Nickerson Beach Park Campground is a 121-acre park located in Nassau County, NY, bordering the Atlantic Ocean. The campground offers 74 RV sites with water, sewer, and electrical hookups. Leisure Pass holders receive resident rates. The park offers beaches, swimming, and numerous other athletic and family activities. Pets are allowed with valid vaccination records. There are strict rules regarding campfires, fireworks, and waste dumping. Quiet times are enforced from Sundays to Thursdays at 10 PM and Fridays and Saturdays at 11 PM. Check-in is at 1 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM. There are no refunds.
