This campground is a great location for those visiting the Chautauqua Institution, with only a 10 minute drive away. The sites are level and the owner does a great job of keeping the grounds neat and tidy. Although the restrooms need updating and are not well maintained or equipped, the showers are hot and private. Payment should be discussed prior to arrival, and there is no picnic table provided. It took two days to get the internet password. Most people staying here are seasonal or long term campers, but the owner is friendly and accommodating. The campground is also 1 mile away from a boat launch ramp on Chautauqua Lake.
