This campground is a great place for families and nature lovers alike. It is located conveniently close to Watkins Glen State Park, Seneca Lake, and the Finger Lakes Trail and the Catherine Valley Trail. There is a short trail with lots of steps leading up to a lovely waterfall in a typical Finger Lakes kind of gorge. The camp sites are wooded and just a short walk away from good views. There are 14 RV and 10 tent sites, all with power pedestal and water spigot. There are playgrounds, pavilions, and trails for hiking. The campground is small and quiet but popular with locals for swimming on hot days. It can get noisy on the weekends, but the park manager is accommodating and friendly. Verizon cell service is available, but ATT phone has no signal. It is not the best park for a big rig, but with a couple of boards it is easy enough to level.
