This campground is a great place for a peaceful getaway close to Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame. It offers a variety of amenities, including water and electric hookups, a small store, an arcade, a playground, and a pool. The big rig section is level grass accessed partly by gravel interior road followed by driving through a grassy meadow. The showers are dated but clean and work well, and there is a dump station but no sewer hookups. The campground is quiet and peaceful midweek when most of the seasonal and transient sites are unoccupied. They even gave us free firewood when we asked to buy some. The only downside is that the WiFi is not great, but otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would give it a 10.

They offer great camping rates for daily, weekly, or seasonal stays. For outdoor fun, there is a fire ring and charcoal grill for making s’mores and biscuit-on-a-stick. A large picnic table is available for dinner or card playing. Golfing enthusiasts can enjoy six golf courses near Meadow-Vale Campsites, including Colonial Ridge and Meadow Links.
