It is located within walking distance of Robert H Treman State Park, which continues to Buttermilk Falls, offering lots of swimming holes and beautiful forest scenery. Taughannock Falls State Park provides a nature center and exhibits of local fauna. Nearby Cornell University campus has beautiful gardens and an arboretum that could take an entire day to explore. The campground has lots of trees, a nice fishing pond, and clean laundry rooms. The pool area is well-kept and perfect for cooling off. The owners and staff are friendly, helpful, and informative. Though some roads may get muddy after heavy rain, many sites are well-gravelled and grassy. There is no Wi-Fi available and cellular service is weak in the area. Nevertheless, DoorDash delivers food from local stores and restaurants. Pinecreek Campground is a peaceful setting and visitors would enjoy their stay here.

Pinecreek Campground is located in the rolling hills of upstate New York in the heart of the Finger Lakes Wine Country. It offers a first-rate camping environment on 42 wooded acres. The campground is convenient to Cornell University, Ithaca College, Watkins Glen, Corning, and Elmira. There are a number of popular recreation sites nearby as well: Cayuga Lake, Seneca Lake, 5 State Parks, gorgeous gorges, and the famous Finger Lakes Hiking Trails, bird watching, wine trails and much, much more.
