This campground is located in the serene Adirondack Mountains and is big rig friendly with level sites. It is easy to access and offers a great atmosphere for families with children. The staff is friendly and accommodating and there are plenty of free showers in modern bath houses. However, during peak season, the campground can become quite busy and noisy due to the close proximity to I-87. The kids are constantly told to get back to their sites and are not allowed in the camp store without a parent. The price for a 3 night stay is $223 for 4 adults and 2 children, but they nickel and dime you to death. The pool is clean and the store is well-stocked, but a little pricey. Overall, this campground is a great option for families with children, but it may not be the best choice for those looking for a quiet, serene getaway.
