From The Campground
Eel Weir State Park is a small and secluded park located on the Oswegatchie River, two miles from Black Lake. The park is known for excellent bass fishing and is ideal for canoes or rowboats. It offers 38 campsites, a picnic area, and a pavilion. The pavilion can accommodate up to 70 people and is available for rent at a day use price of $75. Pets are allowed in campsites and day use areas, but they must be supervised at all times and either be crated or on a leash not more than 6-feet in length. Proof of rabies inoculation shall be produced if requested by staff. Pets are not permitted in playgrounds, buildings, golf courses, boardwalks, pools and spray-grounds or guarded beaches (this does not apply to service animals).
