Ogdensburg, seven miles away, is home to the Frederick Remington Art Museum, where his widow lived after his death. Sites are grassy, open and well-spaced, but somewhat unlevel. There is plenty of shade, a great view of the river and good satellite reception. The interior roads are wide and easy to navigate, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. There is a playground and life-guarded beach for kids, as well as a Mohawk Tribal casino about 20 miles away for gamblers. While some sites don’t have water hookups, water pressure is good. TV reception is good for Canadian stations, and the park manager is knowledgeable about local attractions. Restrooms and showers could be cleaner, but the park is still highly rated for its generous sites, spectacular views and friendly atmosphere.

Lisbon Beach & Campground is located on the St. Lawrence River in Lisbon, New York. The campground offers Full Hook Up, Water & Electric, and Dry (tent) Camping, a Public Beach, Swimming Lessons, a boat launch, a pavilion for parties and more! We are located close to a bevy of summertime activities! We are 11 miles from Waddington, where the Bass Masters Tournament has been held for a number of years; close to Ogdensburg, home of the Frederic Remington Art Museum; close to the Adirondack Mountains and spectacular hiking and views; and of course we are on the majestic St Lawrence River which is a mecca for summer recreation enjoyment from boating, water skiing, and all types of water sports, to spectacular world class fishing. We are your spot for summer enjoyment!!!
