GenieSummary

Nicks Lake Campground is a perfect spot for a peaceful and private camping experience. The campsites are nicely separated, providing plenty of privacy, and the campground is well maintained and clean. There are a number of amenities available, including a beach area, playground, and hiking trails. The lake is shallow and motorized boats are not allowed, making it an ideal spot for kayaking and canoeing. The campground is close to Old Forge, a popular destination in the Adirondacks, and is surrounded by beautiful fall colors and lots of trails and water. The staff at the campground are friendly and helpful, and the area is great for families. Whether youre looking for a relaxing getaway or an adventure-filled vacation, Nicks Lake Campground is the perfect spot.

From The Campground

Duck Lake Campground is a privately owned and operated RV Park with full hookups, 20, 30, 50 amps and sewer. We also have shaded tent sites for the more rustic camper! The campground is on beautiful Duck Lake, approximately 1 1/2 miles long and .75 of a mile wide. Our boat launch is the only public access to the water and It is a wonderful lake to enjoy motorized boats, canoes and sailboats. The lake is ideal for fishing Large Mouth Bass and Tiger Muskie. In 1996 The New York State Record crappie was caught and is mounted at the DEC building at the New York State Fair Grounds! Located in a beautiful shaded setting with a spectacular view of the lake close to the bathrooms and the showers. Duck Lake Campground should not be overlooked when you are considering your family camping activities this year. Duck Lake Campground, like the Adirondacks without the drive!!!!
