This campground is a gem of a find, tucked away in a valley of tall pine trees next to the Allegheny river. The scenery is beautiful and the owner is friendly and accommodating. The interior roads are a bit rough, but the tall trees and peaceful atmosphere make up for it. Road noise can be heard when trucks, Harleys, and hot rods pass by, but the River sites are farther from the road and the sound of the water may drown out the noise. Unfortunately, the bathrooms and showers are not very clean, but the campground is still a great bargain. If you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to stay, this campground is a great option.
