What others are saying about this campground

This campground is situated in a quiet area with beautiful tall trees and is conveniently close to stores, malls, and the city of Syracuse. However, the roads are narrow and rough, with plenty of potholes, and bouncing off pavement when pulling off. The sites are mostly seasonals and cut into the hillside, and the sewage hookup and electrical hookup are both subpar. There are also many bugs that discourage outdoor activities, and the lake access is unsafe. The owners have other jobs and do maintenance when they get to it, and the dumpster is often overflowing. Additionally, there are many old and rundown seasonal trailers, and the owners are sometimes unwilling to enforce their own campground rules. All in all, this campground is alright for a day or two as youre visiting nearby, but it is not recommended for a longer stay.

Located just a short distance from Syracuse, New York, Pleasant Lake Campground offers the great outdoors experience while remaining close to the comforts of home. The campground features 110 trailer sites, as well as a variety of tent sites, and 3 cabins. Sites are available with water, electric, and sewer hookups in beautiful wooded surroundings with easy access to local activities and the Great New York State Fair!
