This campground is located near the Green Mountains and is a great spot for a first night stop for a trip out west. The back-in grass sites have plenty of room and there is a creek within walking distance. Although the bathrooms are old, they are clean. Unfortunately, the toilets leak badly and the person in charge is not running the place properly. Additionally, the people up above the campground are known to party all night. There is also a permanent trailer and lean-to next to the campground, which some may find unappealing. Despite this, the river nearby is beautiful and good for fishing. Overall, this campground is not highly recommended and it may be better to park at Walmart without amenities.
