This campground is conveniently located near Plattsburg and is great for families looking for a place to stay for a reunion. The sites are grassy and level, with fire rings, and some shade provided at the front of the campground. There is an old 1940s Cub Tractor on site that received a trophy at the Antique Classic Car Show at the Fairground. Amenities include 30 or 50 amp, soap and paper towels, and a 7-minute shower with good water pressure for a fee. The campground is close to the freeway, but there is no road or R/R noise. Unfortunately, the pool was not open in July and the owners were rude, so this is not a place we would recommend returning to. However, there is a large playground, a huge club house with a big screen TV, and the owners invited us to join in their Thanksgiving day dinner.
