This campground is perfect for those who want to get back to basics and enjoy a more rustic camping experience. Unfortunately, the park management is not up to par, as the owners are unfriendly and do not have a pleasant or outgoing personality. The roads are not paved and full of holes, and mowing and trimming are not done. The swimming pools are empty and the mini-golf is unusable. The power at the sites is weak and lights keep dimming. The speed bumps are too high and narrow with metal rebar sticking up. The reservations are easy to make on the website, but the assigned sites are not always the same when you arrive. Pull-thrus are available in more open areas for those wanting to use DirecTV on the roof of their motorhome.

Niagara Woodland Campground is a family and pet-friendly campground located in Ransomville, NY. It is just five minutes away from Lake Ontario and close to many area attractions, including Niagara Falls. The campground offers full hookups, electric and water, and tent sites, as well as seasonal sites. Amenities include a pool, camp store, laundromat, dump station, and free WiFi. There are also many planned activities for all ages, including miniature golf, basketball, volleyball, cornhole, and a Ladder Ball Court.
