What others are saying about this campground
This campground is located in the Catskill Mountains and is known for its covered bridge and trout fishing. It is a great spot for a quiet weekend getaway, and checking in is easy and fast. The campsites are small and close together, but the views of the Beaverkill River are beautiful and tranquil. Bathrooms are clean and well-stocked, and the campground is well-maintained. The area is great for exploring, with Mongaup Pond close by. The campground is only accessible by a 6 ft. 6 in. bridge, so be sure to take the correct route. The sites are gravel with minimal tree cover, and the showers are located outside the campground. Dogs are allowed with proof of vaccination. It is a great spot for those looking for a rugged outdoor experience, but not for those looking for amenties or activities for kids.

Beaverkill Campground & Day Use Area is a picturesque camping site located in New York. The campground is situated along the Beaverkill stream, with camping sites on the north side and picnicking area on the south side. The historic covered bridge, constructed in 1865, spans the stream on the town road, creating a unique and picturesque setting. Most campers enjoy the atmosphere created by the location of the campsites along the stream within sight and sound of the water. The campground offers a Junior Naturalist Program, which becomes an outdoor classroom for young children (5-13) and their families. Enjoy games and activities to earn a beautiful embroidered patch.
