The area is surrounded by hills and features a serene 7-acre lake, which is complemented by willow trees. The seasonals are friendly, and the entire park is serious about adhering to the speed limit. While some guests may have issues with inconsistent hot water in the showers, others found it to be a great deal at only $0.25 per 9-minute shower. Firewood is also an excellent value at $10 per bundle. Keep in mind that there are many hills and curves on the way to the entrance, so follow directions carefully. While there may not be proximity to many local services or activities, its an ideal spot for a peaceful getaway.

Twin Oaks Campground is a friendly family camping facility offering camping sites to fit any taste or fancy. Set in a perfect, natural part of New York State, the grounds overlook the Schoharie Valley, a rural paradise. The campground offers a restful retreat with all the modern conveniences, making it an ideal stopover or vacation spot. Our 110 acres of woodland beckon the naturalist, camera enthusiast, hiker, and fossil hunter. Our 7-acre lake is fed by constant fresh water springs and offers great catch & release fishing and boating for everyone. The park features free WiFi throughout most of the park, a new swimming pool, and many more amenities. Twin Oaks Campground has 135 spacious and landscaped sites with water, electric, and sewer hookups. The park also offers video games, a pool table, sparkling clean restrooms, launderette & hot showers, badminton, horseshoes, volleyball, Ga Ga Ball, heated swimming pool, pavilion, rally field for clubs & groups, dances, hayrides, fishing (catch & release, no license required), paddleboat & rowboat rentals, theme weekends from May - September, plus many special events, a camper store, ATM in office, propane, firewood and ice, and dump stations. Visitors have praised the campground for its spacious sites, natural beauty, and friendly staff.
