Brookwood RV Resort is a nice, level campground located on Route 9N with easy access. The owners are friendly and helpful, willing to provide suggestions for local activities. The pull-through sites are easy to navigate and there is plenty of room. The landscaping is nice and there are trees throughout the campground that provide shade. Each site has a fire pit and picnic table. The hook-ups are easy to use and the store has many food and tourist items, along with quilted works for sale. The location is convenient to Fort Ticonderoga and Lake George. They have a beautiful, well-kept pool with great landscaping. The best sites are occupied by seasonal campers, so transient sites are near the road (9N). The road noise isnt too bad and cell service (Verizon) is good. The Wi-Fi is expensive, but Verizon can be used instead. Overall, a nice campground with friendly owners and easy access to local attractions.
From The Campground
The Lake George and Lake Champlain regions of the Adirondack Mountains are an excellent choice for your next camping trip. Nestled in the pine and hardwood forested foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, Brookwood offers camping cabins, RV sites (20/30/50 amp full hook-up sites), and tent camping. Our Lake George cabins are built in the Adirondack rustic style. When you enter our Lake George camping resort, you will be greeted with warm and friendly smiles. Although it may be your first time here, you will feel like you’ve come to visit old friends.
