Little Wolf Public Beach and Campground is a great place to stay for a relaxing getaway. The campground is located in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains and is only a few miles from downtown Tupper Lake. The campground is owned and managed by the village of Tupper Lake and offers 50 sites with some full hookups. The roads are sandy dirt and not in great condition, but the internal roads are gravel and in good condition. The grass sites are basically level and the water pressure is good as is the power voltage. There is a little snack bar and they have a summer camp program for kids. The lake is great for swimming and fishing and there is a boat launch site for the approximately 1 mile lake. There is a large public picnic area and snack bars and camp store on premises. The town has many closed stores and offers very little in entertainment and minimal shopping. Wifi is good, Verizon cell service is fine, and there is no television service available. The gentleman who runs the park is quite friendly and helpful, as are the campers. The sunsets are beautiful and it is so nice to sit by your campfire and watch the children play together and have someone walk by and stop for a visit.
