GenieSummary

Coles Creek campground is a great place for families, offering waterfront sites and plenty of activities for children. The sites are quite close together but the campers are generally friendly and community-oriented. There are no water or sewer hookups, but the views of the Saint Lawrence River are worth the inconvenience. Cell phone service is weak, and there is no park ranger present during the night, which could be dangerous in the case of a medical emergency. There is a lack of enforcement against loud parties, so visitors should be aware of this potential issue.

From The Campground

Coles Creek State Park offers wooded and open campsites near a swimming beach on Lake St. Lawrence. The lake is ideal for boating and fishing as well. A marina on the mouth of Coles Creek lies just north of the park entrance. The park also has a playground, playing fields, and a large pavilion. Waterfowl hunting is permitted in season, and deer hunting is allowed in season in a designated area south of Route 37.
