GenieSummary

This campground is located in the hills of Upstate New York, just 1.5 hours from NYC. It is a great spot for a quiet, primitive camping experience. The campground features two sites, one for campers and one for equestrians who bring their own horses. There are no pull-through sites or hookups, but each site has a picnic table and fire pit. The campground is surrounded by woods and offers plenty of hiking and wildlife spotting opportunities. There is also a lake, grills, restrooms, and showers. The nearby Bear Springs Wildlife Management Area offers even more trails and activities, and you can rent a paddle boat or kayak to explore the scenic Launt Pond. The campground is clean and well-maintained, and the friendly staff is always willing to help. Its a great spot for a weekend getaway, and at only 18 dollars a night, its definitely worth it.
