What others are saying about this campground
Lakeside Beach State Park is a spacious campground with a variety of campsites that cater to different preferences. Many of the sites are surrounded by trees, while others are in open fields. Some sites have views of the lake. When making reservations, its important to review the site options to ensure that you choose the right one for your needs. The park is large enough to accommodate a fair number of campers, and it does get busier on weekends. However, even when its full, it tends to be quiet at night. There are a few playgrounds for the kids to enjoy, and the paved loops are great for biking or scootering. Theres a walkable path that leads to the waters edge, but be aware that its not a beach and consists of large rocks and seaweed. The park store offers fresh produce and ice cream from Circle R Fruit Farm. If you like to walk, you can tour all of the loops, which adds up to about four miles. However, some loops dont allow dogs, so keep that in mind if youre traveling with a pet. It can be breezy at the park, which isnt surprising given that its near a place called Point Breeze. Most importantly, the staff is helpful and friendly, and theyll assist you in finding a suitable site if necessary. Overall, the park is a great place to stay if youre looking for a quiet and peaceful camping experience.

From The Campground
Lakeside State Park is located on the shoreline of Lake Ontario and offers a variety of outdoor activities such as biking, fishing, hiking, hunting, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. The park has campsites, cabins, and lodgings available for visitors. Amenities include disc golf, food, grills, pavilions, playgrounds, playing fields, and showers. The park is closed for waterfowl hunting due to a construction project. Lake Ontario is the only Great Lake that does not share a shoreline with the state of Michigan.
