What others are saying about this campground
Wellesley Island State Park in Wellesley Island, NY is a beautiful, well-maintained park that retains its natural beauty. The park has several full hookup sites, but some of them are not level. The park store building is lovely and equipped with a playground. The laundry facilities are decent. Although the best sites have a full hookup, electric hookups were sufficient and more affordable. There are restrooms and showers located in Loop D, about a 1/4 mile from most campsites. The showers have several hooks for hanging items, a feature that is often lacking in many shower stalls. The beach is small, but the park has nice staff at the camp store.

Wellesley Island State Park is located in the St. Lawrence River corridor and has the largest camping complex in the Thousand Islands. The park offers a variety of camping options, including wilderness campsites that can only be accessed by foot or boat.
