This campground is located right on the shore of Lake Erie, offering a private beach approximately 30 ft down a long set of wooden stairs. The campground offers full hookup sites with electric, water, and sewer, but no pool. The many permanent sites are kept neat, while transient sites are grass with no apparent attempt to make level. Trees can block satellite dishes, but there is fair digital TV reception of approximately 12 channels. The beach is all rock with lots of trash, including dead fish, and the shared water/electric hookups and uneven lots can make setting up a challenge. The campground host will do anything he can to give you a pleasant stay, but there is nothing to do here but sit and watch the water on Lake Erie. Firewood must be purchased separately, and there are no events or playgrounds. Low water pressure, constant sewer plug-ups, and tree damage can be a risk.
