Campground X is situated in Windsor, NY on a 100+ acre property overlooking a 22 acre lake. The campground offers a friendly atmosphere with owners and fellow campers, as well as various activities such as potlucks, wine and cheese pairings, bingo, and cornhole tournaments. There is a road around the campground that adds up to 1 mile, making it a great exercise spot. The new owners have made a huge difference, providing amazing high speed wifi and great cell phone reception. There is a great sense of community spirit among the seasonals, but the campground could be a wonderful place if it was run as a business and effort was put into repairing it. Unfortunately, trash is put in the back of a pickup near the entrance, and the pond is un-swimmable due to underwater grasses. Additional charges may be applicable.
