This campground is a great choice for those looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. It is heavily geared towards seasonal campers, so mid-week visits may feel like a ghost town. The bathrooms are a long walk away and the showers are open air, but are private and clean. There is a stocked fishing pond and plenty of organized activities for kids, such as arts and crafts. The camp store is open during the day, and the owner is very accommodating and responsive. The voltage can be low in the summer when the park is full, so follow the directions on the website and GPS to avoid a difficult uphill climb. There is also a nice pool area. However, there is no electricity for 10 hours if a rodent nests in the hook up area, and no apology is given.
