Turkey Creek Campground is a peaceful and beautiful camping site located in Almond, NC. The campground is situated near the Nantahala River, Tsali Bike Trails, Bryson City, Fontana Lake, and many other attractions. The campground offers a variety of campsites for individuals, families, and groups of all sizes. Turkey Creek, a small babbling brook, meanders through the peaceful and beautiful little cove on its way to the confluence of the Nantahala and Little Tennessee Rivers which form Fontana Lake. The campground offers a wide variety of vegetation that ensures a continual display of color throughout the year. There are myriad of songbirds, bugs, and frogs to serenade you throughout the camping season. Fireflies are in abundance mid-Spring on into Summer. The campground is a perfect staging ground for all your Smoky Mountain adventures.
